Hello from Mocolab, motion control and tabletop specialists. As we progress into 2025 our team is excited to share some of our recent work that's gone live for our clients. Here's three of our recent favorites:
We got a new, more affordable, more portable robot- Meet our Cinebot Max.
Our clients (and their clients by extension) have one theme across all productions lately– more shots, tighter timelines and a dependable solutions.
The MRMC Cinebot Max system is a perfect fit for our local market. It's got a longer reach from a smaller footprint and is highly mobile. The computer workstation is based on a 36" inovativ cart and is easily transported in a van. The system runs off standard house power with an included 110-220 step up transformer.
Director and DP's can get hands on with the robot using push moco, to physically create keyframes by placing the camera into position, a much more natural way to operate the system. Curious to see it yourself? Swing by Expressway's Camera Department where the system is on display.
No space or budget for a robot? We also added Emotimo ST4.3 and SA2.6 kits with lots of accessories including turntables and extra motors.
The Mocolab team continues to expand rigging capabilities with the addition of an iris dropper rig, allowing the lens to chase the ingredients on camera. We've also added off-robot motors for use as model movers.
